Gateway to the World of Soccer

Are you dreaming of becoming a collegiate or even a professional soccer player? Then you just found the starting point of the path to fulfil your dreams.

Because Elite Soccer Academy is exactly where your journey has to start. Founded in 2016 by former Welsh International, Premier League and Hall Of Fame player John Robinson (link to biography) it is the only club in SWFL that provides you with that opportunity. Whilst other clubs in the area might claim to put “player development” as a top priority ESA actually does it.

We provide connections and paths to college or professional soccer. Need proof? Three of our players are set to start the 2019/2020 season in academies in England and, one in an England University, and one was invited to residential academy in Barcelona.

It’s John Robinson’s vast experience as a player on the highest level and his countless - and growing - connections to the world of professional soccer that have opened the gates for our players to a career in soccer, or football as the rest of the world calls it. Our academy teams start at the U9 age bracket and goes all the way to U19 for both boys and girls. ESA is affiliated with US Club Soccer (US Club Soccr Web Site). The program concentrates on tournament play but also offer to compete in the US Club State Cup. This approach allows for greater focus on training between tournaments and provides families with a more palatable schedule.

Our prices are the most competitive in the region. ESA’s experience, knowledge, diversity of European licensed coaches and partnerships with professional entities give the players a unique environment to advance as footballers as well as personalities. ESA’s philosophy is - first and foremost - to help a player to reach his or her full potential. Our primary goal is NOT to collect trophies but to lead a player as far as she or he can go.

Over the past 3 seasons ESA players have gone to play college at many levels and totaling just over 2.3 Mio. Dollars worth of scholarships

As the name suggests our first tier is an introduction to competitive soccer and helps a young player to facilitate the step from recreational soccer to a 10-months-program. The valuable partnership with Gateway Soccer Association also helps us scouting talent.

Since its introduction 5 years ago we have been able to form over 40 pre-academy teams. Guided by our academy coaching staff the six-week-program is held twice a season. It introduces the parents to competitive soccer as well. Also our pre-academy is unique in SWFL.

Our recreational organization Gateway Soccer Association are the 2nd largest recreational soccer club in SWFL. Through the fall & spring season there is over 1500 children that participate. Our Recreational program is run by Recreational Director, Mr Mark Alison. Our goal is to be able to provide a stable platform in which the children develop their soccer skills, in an environment structured around their enjoyment, first & foremost.

Our philosophy as a recreational soccer program, is to firstly act as an introduction to the sport, and then as a developmental program trying to teach the fundamental techniques, to a point where the player is now moved past the recreational level, and could move into our full competitive Academy program or if they are not quite ready whether commitment level or ability they have the option of our 1st tier Pre-Academy program.

International Player iD Camps

Over the past 18 months through our partnerships our players have had the opportunity to have exposure to many European player iD camps, in Europe and at our own complex in SWFL. Now extending those partnerships in Sweden, Spain, Switzerland with the addition of our JRS-USA college partnership players will have even more opportunities, that is unrivalled in SWFL.

European Soccer Tours

Our player ID camps here and abroad are not the only way for the ESA family to explore the world of soccer. In the past two years we have traveled with teams to England and Spain, participated in the Super Cups there and collected experiences and memories for a lifetime. (probably links to England and Barcelona video). And the next trip is just around the corner.

LET’S GO ELITE has many meanings!
